Coastal Film Spotlight

Partnerships

Coastal Film Spotlight considers collaborations that fit its interest in coastal places and screen culture. Any partnership must be useful to readers, clearly distinguished from editorial work and described without implying endorsement that has not been given.

Possible collaborations

We consider relevant cultural projects, film-related events, educational resources and editorial partnerships with a clear connection to coastal film culture. Proposals should explain the intended audience, what each party would contribute and how readers might benefit. We do not accept arrangements that require a particular editorial verdict.

Partner placements

Relevant partner links or placements may appear across the site when they suit the subject and serve readers. These are labelled so their relationship to a partner is clear. A placement is not a recommendation of every product, service or claim associated with a partner, and editorial articles remain separate from paid material.

Start a conversation

Use the Contact page and select the partnership option. Include a concise description of the proposal, its connection to the publication and any requested placement. We review ideas for relevance and clarity; sending a proposal does not guarantee a collaboration or a particular position on the site.

Our point of view

A coastline is never just a backdrop

The sea can shape a scene through sound, distance, weather or work as much as through its view. We look for the choices that make a coastal setting feel lived in.
